Conservation Framer

We are looking for an experienced Conservation Framer to join our framing department. The candidate should be well versed in museum-quality archival framing techniques.

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and have the ability to:

• Archival hinge, and museum-quality mount/assembly
• Cut custom mats and glazing
• Stretch canvas and linen
• Sew mount

Must have knowledge about handling a variety of artist and framing materials and enjoy creative challenges and problem-solving. High attention to detail is a must.  Desire to learn new techniques. Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment with a mindset to meet deadlines.

This is a full-time position with benefits, hours are flexible. Compensation is based on experience. Office location: 840 N. Milwaukee Ave, Chicago
